A Loooong time...
Hey Everyone
I AM SORRY!!! Please forgive the length of time between blogs. I returned from the states and was overwhelmed with getting ready for school and helping do orientation for the new staff. Once school started I was stricken with typhoid fever. Today is my first day back after a week of doing nothing but sleeping. It was a good day considering...
I have really learned what it means to depend on Jesus. I truly cannot get through a day without him. I began the first day of school, August 21st, with a fever of 103. I worked those first four days and then stayed home last week. After this experience I also realized how lucky we are in the states for our health care system (even though some may disagree).
I miss you all terribly and the culture shock has been missing all of you. I miss seeing you, talking, praying, and just being with you.
Please pray for my strength and that I would continue to take care of myself.

Thanks for everything you've done to help all of us out. Even little things you do that you might take for granted, like translating and giving people rides around town, are greatly appreciated by people like me, who still struggle with Spanish and have to walk everywhere. I think you're doing a great job, and I'm glad that I was once again able to hear "1-2-3, eyes on me" several times this past week.
